Product Manager Lottery

Job Summary:

It is EveryMatrix’s objective to develop products in tune with the requirements of State lotteries, whether in public or private hands. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, fully familiar with the various online and retail lottery product offerings. You will take an analytical approach to deploying and testing new product ideas and optimizing efficiencies across the product life cycle. You will work with our development teams to deliver both back-end management applications as well as customer-facing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Have awareness and support the company safer gambling objectives;
  • Understand the perspective of lottery players and the general B2B and B2C lottery market;
  • Understand the concepts behind typical lottery products such as draw-based games as well as instant win games, both in the physical and virtual worlds;
  • Conduct market and competitive assessments to understand trends affecting the competitive landscape deeply. Share findings with key stakeholders to influence action within the organization;
  • Work with the UX team to design experiences our customers and their players will love;
  • The Product Manager is responsible for the product's top and bottom lines (and most things in between);
  • Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities;
  • Support Sales, and Account Management;
  • Management of development section (Personnel, investment, processes);
  • Development of resources, qualifications and training with Team Leaders;
  • Quality and process management;
  • Strategic planning and drafting goals for all activities in co-operation with local management, own team, and central management and specialists;
  • Willing to travel.

Requirements:

  • Technical University or University of Economics / Business;
  • Market knowledge – understanding of product groups, suppliers, competition, market issues, opportunities and threats;
  • Min. 3 years practical experience working with lottery systems or similar;
  • Experience with online gaming casino back office is an advantage;
  • Own the requirements definition for new Lottery products and communicate those requirements effectively to the development teams' Product Owners;
  • Provide such training and support as is necessary to Product Owners and others as necessary for them to understand the unique features of the Lottery domain and products;
  • Build a good working partnership with the development Product Owners and development teams;
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management;
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in project management, product management, business analysis and modeling;
  • Excellent knowledge of product development & product lifecycle;
  • The ability to interact professionally with clients and solicit their input for potential requirements and design features is needed;
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and how to interact with developers is a must;
  • Good software skills ;
  • Professional handling of customer contacts;
  • Strong documentation, oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance multiple ongoing responsibilities and appropriately communicate issues;
  • Analytic mind (strategic thinking);
  • Experience working with remote product development teams;
  • With initiative & responsibility (respect deadlines/agreements etc.);
  • Result-oriented with problem-solving skills;
  • Good delegator and coach.

Work-Life Balance:

  • 40% work from home over any 3-month period (can work one month per quarter abroad);
