JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Director, Brand Marketing is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the brand strategy and initiatives. This individual will oversee and drive the brand vision ensuring it is consistently applied across all marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. This is inclusive of strategic brand storytelling, developing and cultivating programs and relations with key influencers to elevate the brand.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the marketing strategy and activation for all campaigns / initiatives
Develop and execute compelling, on-brand marketing campaigns and plans
Develop and execute marketing campaigns and creative activation strategies
Oversee the campaign activation direction for marketing channel owners and key stakeholders
Evolve marketing programs and brand experience across platforms and consumer touchpoints
Oversee the campaign planning process and ensure all phases deliver marketing activation plans per objectives
Oversee the Women’s Marketing Team develop innovative marketing strategies to support the growth
Manage all PR / Media initiatives
Develop and present annual marketing plan
Develop and present new and innovative ideas to appeal to current customer base and new demographic channels
Collaborate with marketing leadership to ensure brand vision and campaign plans align with existing and new customer targets and remain at the forefront of the apparel industry
Collaborate with marketing channel owners and key stakeholders to ensure all marketing campaigns are concepted and activated in line with brand, product, and marketing objectives
Identify, establish, develop, and optimize evolving success metrics
Leverage data, market insights, marketing tools and the spectrum of marketing channels to develop and execute impactful strategic recommendations
Oversee the development and management of monthly / annual budget
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing methodologies, best practices, and processes
Manage external agency relationships (i.e., Earned Media (PR), Paid Media (OMD/Callaway) and Creative (TKG))
Manage, coach, and develop the brand marketing team
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Proficient in marketing software (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
Highly proficient in design copy and general marketing guidelines
Highly proficient in brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
Proficient in creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand development
Ability to analyze market trends, anticipate opportunities and develop strategic insights
Ability to drive, influence and collaborate across numerous functional areas
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to manage and mentor a team
Strong communication and decision-making abilities
Strong creative thinking and leadership
Strong organization and planning skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a brand or creative management capacity
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership capacity
Experience in retail and wholesale marketing
$189,000 - $235,000 a year
