Facility Manager

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall upkeep and functionality of the company's facilities. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Facilities Management:

• Oversee cleaning and maintenance arrangements to ensure high standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Monitor the interior and exterior condition of the building.
• Prepare and implement budgets and timelines for maintenance projects.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and regulations.
• Support maintenance and installation work as required.

Administrative Duties:

• Handle administrative tasks related to facility management.
• Manage vendor contracts and relationships.
• Prepare and manage facility-related budgets.
• Generate reports on facility performance and maintenance costs.

Team Management:

• Manage and supervise the facilities team.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the team.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience minimum of 2-3 years in facilities management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance and repair processes.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite, facility management software).
