A day in the life of the Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, your day revolves around modeling and analyzing business processes and requirements, ensuring they align with organizational goals. You engage with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, provide training and support, and collaborate with support teams to resolve queries. Additionally, you document test cases, assist in vision documents, and leverage certifications like BPMN 2.0, BABOK, and ITIL to enhance your analyses and solutions.

Your day-to-day

• Business processes modelling
• Business model analysis
• Business requirements analysis
• Functional requirements analysis
• Process analysis
• Risk analysis
• Assistance in Vision documents
• Production of Test Case models
• Provide training, demos, 3rd level of support
• Assistance to support functional questions by the business clients
• Liaise with the support team (L1 and L2) for the resolution of some queries/incidents

Requirements

• Proficient in comprehending, interpreting and modelling business processes
• Strong communication skills, adept at conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
• Skilled in offering user support, including guidance, training, and coaching
• Competent in stakeholder engagement, eliciting requirements, conducting interviews, validating findings, and maintaining a comprehensive requirements repository
• Dynamic, solution-oriented, and skilled at identifying potential solution pathways
• Experienced working within diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating teamwork and the ability to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders
• Language proficiency: Fluent in English (minimum Level B2)
