We are Allegro - a largest online marketplace of European origin, currently operating in Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Right now, our plan is to grow - therefore, we are looking for a new colleague who will be tasked with bringing new business opportunities, acquiring new partners, and providing them with the best client experience possible in Hungary. What will your new role involve?

  • Sourcing, acquisition and onboarding of new partners (merchants) for our marketplace in Hungary
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key partners (merchants) and brands within the given categories
  • Implementing the category's commercial plan for sourcing the range from key vendors
  • Co-creating and enforcing merchant development plans in the category, including promotions, commercial campaigns, etc.
  • Monitoring the growth of key merchants and identify initiatives to support their development and help their business thrive
  • Providing insights on relevant changes to key partners by working with the training team to educate and support merchants in the category
  • Working closely with the Category Owners, DEX / Merchant Teams, Customer Experience (CEX), Legal, Commerce teams to optimize solutions and build a comprehensive knowledge of the tools available and how they can be used

What skills will help you to excel in this role?

  • Native or near native knowledge of Hungarian (C1-C2), advanced level of English (C1)
  • Substantial knowledge of the Hungarian market and its specifics in terms of e-commerce (largest players and brands, potential partners, etc.)
  • Proven track record of business development, acquisitions, account management and negotiation experience
  • Great communication skills and networking - you will be the one opening the doors for us on the Hungarian market!
  • Adaptability and flexibility - e-comm is a dynamic business, so things may change rapidly
