Data Architect

The Data Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture and infrastructure for OUTsurance Ireland. This will include working with the business to understand their data needs, designing and implementing a data architecture and managing the data lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Synapse ecosystem and be able to apply their knowledge to solve complex data challenges in a dynamic start-up environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a data architecture and roadmap aligned with the overall business strategy
• Define the architecture and design for data management using the Microsoft Synapse ecosystem including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory and Azure Machine Learning
• Design and implement solutions that provide the business with a range of reporting outcomes using data from a variety of system and transactional storage solutions with a range of data freshness requirements
• Develop data models and database designs to support the needs of OUTsurance Ireland.
