Junior Hardware Developer

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada Advanced Vetronics Systems (AVS) division is hiring for a Junior Hardware Engineering Developer. We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to take on dual responsibilities of Project Engineering and Lab Management Support. The AVS teams develop electronic systems for armored tactical vehicles such as in-vehicle video management, smart displays, fire control, ballistics computing, and vehicle control. These teams develop products in-house, including the mechanical systems, power supplies, circuit boards, optics, FPGAs and software.

This role involves providing engineering support for product development while also managing our AVS engineering labs. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoys working in a lab environment. The labs are shared facilities for electronic solution developments and system integrations.
