Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Contribute to our portfolio of Automotive UI Products from requirement to delivery; multiple car makers will use your software in their dashboard in millions of cars;
• Build compelling new user experiences within TomTom’s applications;
• Bring your expertise to reduce technical debt and avoid bugs;
• Develop online and onboard applications for in-car multi-screen platforms;
• Work with a complex, multi platform codebase;
• Bring new and creative, innovative ideas to the table;
• Work in multi site, multi cultural environment.

What you'll need

• Excellent, hands-on programming skills in Kotlin/Android Studio/Gradle/git, with proven working experience;
• A quality-first mindset; how can we touch our codebase with minimal defects and pollution;
• Strong communication skills across functions (UX, Product Management, Operations);
• Openness and willingness to support others and take initiatives;
• Product minded with UX/UI knowledge and exposure;
• A willingness to understand that the Automotive market has demanding requests and tight deadlines;
• Strong communication skills in English.
