Senior Mechanic

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanic with expertise in diesel and petrol machinery to join our client's team, a reputable Royal Family. A mechanical technician repairs and maintains a variety of equipment, such as diesel and petrol engines, transmissions, and high-pressure pumps, and is also responsible for making sure that all processes are performed in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Repair mechanical systems by first dividing complex problems and then determining ways to troubleshoot them.
• Perform both preventative and regular maintenance work on assigned mechanical systems to ensure that they work efficiently and minimize chances of breakdown and downtime.
• Install and repair components required to run mechanical systems properly to ensure minimum downtime.
• Test all equipment for proper operations and ensure that it is properly calibrated before it is due to be used.
• Create reports on malfunctions and ensure that they are timely submitted to supervisors.
• Oversee inventory of required components, parts, and supplies for repairing and maintaining mechanical systems.
