VACANCY: Digital Designer
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated designer to join our team based in Paisley. If you’re looking for a busy and varied role to develop your career, then this could be the job for you! You’ll be working closely with our Head of Marketing & Communications and other stakeholders across the business, on a variety of video, digital and print projects, such as social media web content, digital presentations, infographics and training materials.
Our ideal candidate will be a team player who is passionate about graphic design and will support the Head of Marketing in implementing our marketing and internal communications strategies. Role
Full-time Permanent Role, Monday-Friday (office-based)
Person & Role Specification
· 1-2 years’ experience in a graphic design role, or a recent graduate looking for their first full-time role.
· Experience of the Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
. Experience with web platforms, such as Wordpress would be advantageous.
. Photography/video skills.
· Keen to learn new skills and stay up to date with design and marketing trends.
· A pro-active problem-solver.
· Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Willingness to learn new systems / processes / procedures.
· Team player with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
· Create visually appealing designs for marketing materials and internal communications, incorporating a range of media including, photography, graphics, animation and film.
· Ability to work at speed, to manage conflicting deadlines and to work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to prioritise and plan jobs.
· Support the entire design process from brief through to delivery and effectively manage each step along the way - providing creative concepts, developing designs, and artwork for implementation.
· Have a flexible and supportive approach to deliver planned jobs as well as smaller, short-notice ad-hoc jobs.
Salary: negotiable, dependent upon experience
