POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for patient-inspired, passionate Regional Project Manager, with dual responsibility (marketing and sales) with demonstrated experience in rare diseases, preferably in pediatric hepatology. This Regional Project Manager, based in the Netherlands, will be responsible for Belgium and Netherlands (possibly Luxemburg), will report directly to the General Manager of France / BNL, and will work closely with the BNL Medical Director.

This client-focused Regional Project Manager will possess experience in business ownership, leadership, analytics, and the implementation of innovative solutions to improve the patient pathway.

The Regional Project Manager will develop an effective plan, aiming at ensuring that patients in need are appropriately diagnosed and managed depicting the patient pathway for the patients with this disease (identifying the HCPs in charge of the management of the disease, from early identification, to diagnosis, disease and symptom management), conduct the plan, with the support of the Regional Medical Director, and promote Mirum’s products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Marketing :
    • Identifying blockage, problems, issues in the patient pathway which prevent patients from benefiting from the best possible care
    • Proposing solutions to support an optimal patient pathway, and identify the relevant stakeholders to conduct those actions in conjunction with the medical department
    • Setting the marketing strategy and developing key tactics in collaboration with the leadership team and the international team
    • Localize international materials and develop new ones, as needed to execute the strategy.
  • Sales :
    • Establish strong relationships with key thought leaders and customers and demonstrate ability to recognize and devote the necessary time and resources needed to engage with HCP’s.
    • Conduct disease awareness activities to improve the management of these diseases.
    • Develop and execute regional plan and key account plans.
    • Promote Mirum’s product, in compliance with local regulations.

REQUIRED COMPETENCES:

  • Possesses an entrepreneurial approach with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize/exceed individual and company goals.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, and good experience in marketing and in rare disease network to establish priorities for launch, and successive years, as well as operational execution of the projects.
  • Employ strong organizational and analytical skills to analyze business data, patient pathway blockage, and conduct regional activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships across commercial, compliance, medical affairs functions.
  • Drive change through influence and innovation.
  • Knowledge of the regulations concerning interactions with HCP in the region.
  • Ability to promote medicinal product.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of science or business experience in healthcare or biotech industry, inclusive of 4 years of field-based experience.
  • Successful biotech/pharma product launch experience in rare or niche markets with a documented track record of exceeding goals.
  • Bachelor in science degree or higher.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Rare disease or highly specialty care required.
  • Pediatric experience welcomed.
  • Competitive marketplace experience preferred.
  • Proven experience working and promoting products within Hospitals, Academic Institutions, and clinics calling on interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Proven record of success through teamwork and execution.
  • Track record of operating in accordance with all regulations as well as company policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates high ethical and performance standards with all scientific and business contacts.
  • Approximately 80% travel is required including overnight travel as needed.
  • Some travel and attendance on evenings and weekends for regional and national meetings, conferences and advocacy support events.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French is optimal.
