Smappee is looking for a talented and passionate Team Leader to join our team of technical support professionals.
As a Team Lead, you will manage team performance, provide training and mentorship, and tackle complex technical issues across departments.

Responsibilities

• You develop and maintain long-term planning to ensure smooth operations and goal achievement.
• To ensure everyone is up to date, you offer comprehensive training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing employees
• You support team members' growth through continuous development and coaching, helping them reach their full potential.
• You will regularly assess team performance, implement improvements, and provide constructive feedback to drive excellence
• To ensure effective resolution, you step in to assist with complex issues, offering guidance and support
• You act as the go-to person for communication and collaboration with other departments such as R&D, Sales, etc.
• You lead and oversee projects throughout the entire process, ensuring they meet deadlines and deliver desired outcomes.

Requirements

• Your strong background in IT combined with a strong interest in electricity and or electronics is desirable due to the technical nature of the role.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is nice to have.
• You have 2 years of experience leading technical teams, utilizing situational leadership to adapt to varying circumstances.
• You have excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively across the team and other departments.
• You demonstrate high integrity and are trustworthy, ensuring reliability and earning the confidence of team members.
• You have the ability to coach and mentor team members, fostering their growth and development.
• You have exemplary leadership qualities, leading by example and making decisive, informed decisions to guide the team.
