- You will be responsible for automation and development of test scripts for test cases following the test automation frameworks to help reduce the efforts of testing the features.
- You will be responsible for the development and commissioning of test automation libraries, test scripts using the ECU-Test tool.
- Drive the identification and resolution of technical challenges related to Test Automation, ensuring compatibility, reusability, scalability, of test automation libraries/scripts across different levels of Virtual testing (L1, L3, L4) and HIL testing environments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including requirements, architecture, software development, virtual platform teams and other relevant teams to resolve any technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and support other team members and junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the Test Automation domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or other related degrees.
- Minimum of 3+ years of automotive experience, with 3 years of experience in Test automation.
- Hands on experience in Test Automation using tool chain like ECU-Test, Test Guide, Team City
- Hands on experience in Test script development in Virtual test environments and HIL environments using dSpace tool chain like Control Desk, VEOS player.
- Experience using the configuration management tools like GitHub, etc. and ALM tools like IBM RTC, RQM, etc..
- Experience with Communication protocols i.e., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, XCP, SOME I/P/
- Experience with various review techniques like peer reviews, walk throughs, of testing work products (test cases, test scripts, test plans, test reports etc..).
- Good understanding of testing standards (ISO 29119, ISO IEC 9126, IEE 829)
- Familiarity with ASPICE, Agile SW development methodologies and AUTOSAR Software development.
- Possess strong initiatives, problem solving skills, and ability to work in a diverse team environment, good at documenting the software.
- Excellent communication and presence skills, and the ability to negotiate and reach agreements with cross-functional teams and other groups.
- You are a true team player capable of working independently and reaching out to cross-functional teams and document software processes and architecture for clarity and maintainability.
- You have experience with Wireless standards (preferably ZigBee), and have worked with sniffers and debug tools.
- You have knowledge of Python, C and C++, GitLab CI (Yaml), Shell, Git version control
- Excellent English, strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
