Network Security Engineer

Network Security Engineer has direct impact on the resilience and security of Playtech networks across the corporate and production IT environments. Network Security Engineer manages network security tools, administer the network configuration to assure the security posture and baseline and work with the relevant teams to review and find gaps with any network outline and design in terms of the security policies. We seek a self-starter and strong contributor who takes initiative and cares about the quality of their work. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, multitasker, and a problem-solver. Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on implementation, administration, and maintenance of network security controls in on-premises and cloud infrastructure
• Identify weak or missing security controls and vulnerabilities on the network domain and work to resolve them with the right risk owners
• Lead migration of existing and new sites and integration into Playtech network security standards
• Designing new security and network solutions. Evaluating new technologies for improving security and network performance
• Collaborate with Business, R&D and IT teams and serve as a subject matter expert on network security topics
• Assist Security Operations with response and investigate potential security incidents on network level
• Support questions and evidence collection from internal and external audits, as well as documentation about network security standards and policies

Requirements

Essential

• 3+ years of IT security experience in a medium/large global enterprise
• Strong technical background in network and infrastructure security
• Understanding of routing and switching protocols and products (network management certifications like CCNA/CCNP/etc. are appreciated)
• Knowledge of and experience with NGFW, Web content filtering, IDS/IPS (firewall management / engineering certifications like CCSA/CCSE/et. are appreciated)
• Strong self-education skills, striving to learn new technologies, tools and methodologies and staying up to date with most recent security capabilities
• Strong soft skills - Ability to communicate effectively with infrastructure teams (o/s, networking, storage, db etc.) and help them understand the importance of the security aspect; be able to speak with them at the same level of knowledge in their fields

Preferred

• Experience working with Network Access Control (NAC), DDoS mitigation and Remote Access VPN solutions
• Experience with firewall governance and central management tools (Tufin, AlgoSec, etc.)
• Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or microservices
• Passion to automation and experience with building and/or maintaining automation tools
• Being able to plan, design and roll out security solutions with high level of independence
• Security management certifications (CISSP/CISM/etc.)
