Sales Engineer - Renewable Energy

Hire Resolve is actively seeking a Renewable Energy Sales Engineer for our esteemed client, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, with a particular focus on medium to large Commercial and Industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions focusing on medium to large Commercial and Industrial (C&I) projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to create optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects.
• Design preliminary technical solutions, estimate costs, and write proposals.
• Assist in client contract negotiations.
• Develop sales with new and existing accounts in assigned areas to meet business targets.
• Develop competitive strategies to achieve sales objectives and maintain knowledge of competitor activity.
• Provide input on the business plan to ensure sales sustainability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers within the industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in renewable energy or related fields.
• Technical understanding of solar PV, battery energy storage systems, diesel generators, and electrical reticulation.
• Ability to work with customers and partners on technical questions and solutions.
• Ability to coordinate amongst multidisciplinary teams (both internally and externally).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work well in a matrix organizational structure.
• Knowledge of project management is advantageous.
• Previous knowledge of large-scale solar installations is an advantage.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
