Hire Resolve is actively seeking a Renewable Energy Sales Engineer for our esteemed client, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, with a particular focus on medium to large Commercial and Industrial projects. Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions focusing on medium to large Commercial and Industrial (C&I) projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to create optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects.
- Design preliminary technical solutions, estimate costs, and write proposals.
- Assist in client contract negotiations.
- Develop sales with new and existing accounts in assigned areas to meet business targets.
- Develop competitive strategies to achieve sales objectives and maintain knowledge of competitor activity.
- Provide input on the business plan to ensure sales sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers within the industry.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in renewable energy or related fields.
- Technical understanding of solar PV, battery energy storage systems, diesel generators, and electrical reticulation.
- Ability to work with customers and partners on technical questions and solutions.
- Ability to coordinate amongst multidisciplinary teams (both internally and externally).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work well in a matrix organizational structure.
- Knowledge of project management is advantageous.
- Previous knowledge of large-scale solar installations is an advantage.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
