Expert Data Engineer

• Plan, develop and implement an optimal data architecture on the Google platform to provide a high-quality foundation for analysis and machine learning use cases.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers and backend developers to understand and implement data requirements.
• Supporting the design and implementation of new extraction, transformation and loading processes from various data sources
• Utilizing and ensuring state-of-the-art methodologies (CI/CD) to deliver a future-proof scalable form.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience in creating scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with custom ETL design and maintenance.
• Knowledge of XML & JSON data formats.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar).
• Programming skills in R, Python, Java etc.
• Experience in creating data workflows via Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow or similar tools.
• Experience in communicating via REST APIs.
• General experience in delivering a scaled data and analytics platform.
• Knowledge of dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.
• Independent and structured way of working.
• High level of ownership and ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
