As the Chief Revenue Officer at Deepc, you will be a pivotal leader during our rapid growth phase, and drive all our revenue initiatives and activities. Your role involves fostering an aligned high-performance team, whilst developing sustainable processes, nurturing individual and team growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building the annual recurring revenue (ARR) in the organisation to help activate a Series B fundraise.

We seek a high energy and ambitious revenue leader who thrives on sustainable company growth, proactively identifies process enhancements, drives implementation, and is hands-on when necessary. We have an opportunity to be the market leader, and to be successful in this role you will operate as an ‘intrepreneur’ in the business and drive the revenue function to success. You will be ready to take on an intense and exciting race for marketing motion for the next 3-4 years.

  • Own our Go-to-Market strategy by developing and executing the company’s revenue strategy, including market penetration, customer segmentation, optimisation of pricing, and product-market fit, to drive revenue growth and maximise market share (globally).
  • Create a smooth transition of our CEO & Founder away from management responsibilities in the commercial function as the company prepares for scale.
  • Directly manage a global team of revenue leaders in professional services (delivery, service, customer success - 5 FTE’s), commercial operations (supplier management, manage channel relationships, enablement, sales support) - 5 FTE’s), Sales (direct & channel sales - 10 FTE’s), Marketing (product, event, generalist - 1 FTE’s, 2 Live roles)
  • Build and lead a high-performing revenue team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring their ongoing professional growth and success.
  • Help manage a recent company acquisition (which includes commercial team members), and design an optimal commercial organisation.
  • Optimise the revenue operations by implementing effective revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue analytics. Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions, drive revenue predictability, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals, targets, and KPIs. Foster a high-performance sales culture, optimise sales processes, and drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness.
  • Lead the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to lead generation, brand positioning, and customer acquisition. Drive effective marketing campaigns that generate high-quality awareness, leads and support revenue.
  • Lead the customer success team to enhance customer retention, drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Develop and implement customer success programs and initiatives that maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Develop accurate revenue forecasts, financial models, and revenue planning initiatives. Monitor revenue performance, identify revenue gaps, and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Proven track record as a revenue leader in a high-growth tech scale-up business, with a focus on B2B sales and revenue generation. Has operated as a CRO / C-Suite / VP Revenue in a scaling journey from 10 million ARR and 100 million ARR
  • Has played a central role in raising a Series B
  • Has driven a G-T-M into a public sector (ideally healthcare) focussed company, including ideally tender focussed new business selling
  • must have sold at the 70-100K ACV price point, in SaaS.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience as an revenue leader
  • At least 3 years experience as an revenue leader, in a Series A startup or fast-paced environment
  • Experience of representing the full revenue organisation at exec & board meetings.
  • Strategic thinker who can turn G-T-M strategies into actionable plans and is hands-on when need
  • Proven proficiency in using data and analytics to drive evidence-based G-T-M strategies and decision-making
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving ambitious revenue targets within a competitive market.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable revenue strategies and operational plans.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve revenue goals.
  • Experience in developing and implementing revenue operations processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue analytics.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate revenue strategies, results, and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of international People practices and employment laws
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and managing functions who own this core system.
  • Business Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Preference for candidates based in London, Munich, but open to East Coast & EMEA.
  • In-depth knowledge of the tech industry, market trends, and emerging technologies, with a passion for innovation and disruption.
  • Strong experience in selling enterprise level deals into Healthcare
  • Experience in selling AI into antiquated markets.
