*This position is required to be in the office 4 days a week and 1 flex day.*
Overall Purpose and Objective of Position:
This position supports the administration of multiple benefits programs at the North American headquarters. We are looking for someone who has a passion for benefits administration and looking to grow within that space specifically.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
· Coordinates and tracks the enrollment process for all new employees in multiple benefit plans, including compiling packets of all enrollment materials. Tracks completion of the benefit enrollment process in our HRIS system, Workday. Sets up and maintains files for all employee leave events.
· Assists employees with a variety of healthcare claim issues by presenting problems to plan customer service
advocates and follows up with employees regarding resolution.
· Enters and ensures integrity of benefits data in the Workday system. Reviews new hires, terminations, open
enrollments and all other employee benefit changes entered in Workday.
· Manages short-term disability claims for hourly employees; includes filing initial claims with the insurance
company, and monitoring on going claims.
· Assists Benefits Manager in various aspects of the employee leave process
Additional Responsibilities
· Processes weekly funding requests and monthly premium invoices for healthcare and group insurance providers.
· Runs/reviews Workday reports.
· Assists with employee communications and mailings
· Maintains records log of off site files, including preparing files to be sent off site.
· Orders department supplies.
· Assists Health and Insured Benefits Manager as needed.
Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience:
1+ years of Benefit administration experience
Experience working with HRIS systems, proficiency with Workday preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
The following are the basic qualifications:
- Basic understanding of all aspects of employee benefit administration

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and leave laws, including FMLA and ADA preferred.
