- Collect data, complete research and provide project administration for a variety of planning projects such as multi modal transportation and corridor studies and land use planning.
- Develop, review, and evaluate planning documents including ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Research various transportation funding avenues and prepare grant applications for clients to help secure funding.
- Understand municipalities, state and local agencies, universities, and private clients needs to perform a variety of transportation planning analysis through spreadsheet and GIS tools.
- Develop public engagement programs for any transportation plan to ensure equity and broad representation in planning efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in planning, urban or regional planning, civil engineering or related field (e.g. Landscape Architecture, Geography, etc.), plus five years of professional experience.
- Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously and attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind.
