This Sr. Finance Manager role will be responsible for producing and narrating several key PE sponsor deliverables. As a senior individual on the Corporate Finance team at Rover, you will be integral in driving investor reporting, crafting comprehensive financial materials for monthly investor meetings and quarterly board meetings, owning our cash flow forecast, and potentially becoming our key point of contact with our PE sponsor. This role demands a blend of robust business acumen, strategic insight, and high precision without sacrificing pace.

Your Requirements:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports to investors.
  • Develop and maintain investor relationships, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
  • Create comprehensive finance materials for monthly investor review meetings.
  • Prepare detailed finance updates for quarterly board meetings.
  • Own our enterprise cash flow forecast model to always have a pulse on expected cash and working capital activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze data and distill to business narratives.
  • Assist in the evaluation and execution of expansion-related projects.
  • Work closely with the corporate development team to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Accounting, Marketing, and Product, to get alignment on business narratives.

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investor relations, private equity, venture capital, investment banking or related roles, with a strong focus on analysis.
  • Effectively operates in specific details and precision while also zooming out to high-level narrations and the “so-what” of things.
  • Ability to identify, scope, and drive data-driven analysis to present insights and recommend action decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and collaborating with senior leaders, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as your key contacts will be PE sponsors (Blackstone) and the senior leadership team (CEO, CFO, Directors)
  • Energized by new projects, proactive learning mindset, and excited by change and challenges
  • Understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and financial modeling
  • BS/MS or demonstrated ability in a business or quantitative field: Economics, Business, Math, Statistics. Think analytically and fluent in financial constructs. Able to synthesize large amounts of data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience working in a tech or marketplace company is a plus.

Compensation:

  • In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range for the role is $153,430 - $190,766. Additionally, Rover offers benefits to full-time employees.
  • The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
