Software Engineer

Java Developer responsibilities to develop the software using agile methodologies.
Technical Skills:

• Java, JSP, Struts, Web development, Apache Tomcat, AWS technologies, Restful Web Services, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring boot, Hibernate, Maven, GIT, JUnit, and Logging APIs like Apache Log4J, Java 8+ features,
• Responsibilities:
• Identify and analyze user requirements
• Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
• Develop Java EE applications
• Write well-designed, efficient code
• Review, test and debug team members’ code
• Design application and database architecture
• Schedule product releases with internal teams
• Document development phases
• Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date

Requirements

Skills and Expertise:

• Education Level: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• Experience Required: 2 -3 years of professional experience
• Experience designing, building, and testing Java EE applications
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC
• Experience working in multithreaded application.
• Experience or knowledge of Search Engines like Solr, Lucene and Elastic Search
• Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB, MSSQL and/or Postgres),
• Knowledge of queuing and messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, SNS and SQS
• Basic Working Knowledge on JavaScript /Javascript frameworks, Web Markup Languages (HTML/HTML5, XML) and Style Sheet Language (CSS/CSS3)
• Experience working with Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus or any CI/CD tool and deep understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery. Willing and able to work with DevOps team and contribute to CI/CD
• Knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch is a strong plus point
• Good delegation and time management skills
• Problem-solving abilities
