Full Stack Java Software Engineer

One of our clients operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain leadership in financial technology.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Innovation in Banking Technology: Contribute to the digitization and modernization of a banking application, bringing creativity and innovative ideas to enhance the overall process
• Tailor client solutions: Develop new or modified software products or ongoing business projects
• Consultancy & analytics: Evaluate, assess, and recommend robust software solutions for assigned tasks
• Deliver high-quality code: ensuring the fulfilment of the requirements, taking into consideration also its performance within the agreed time estimate
• **Drive Continuous Improvement:**Identify areas of improvement in existing programs and subsequent refactoring
• Nurture Knowledge: continue to learn and improve your skills as software engineer, with the support of your senior colleagues
• Agile Team collaboration: Work closely with other colleagues from your team (Software Engineers, Product Owners, team managers and clients)

Requirements

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience in software development (Java & Angular)
• Good knowledge of Java 17, Java ecosystem frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, associated patterns (e.g. SOLID principles, Design Patterns), API driven development
• Working experience with relational data base and ORM (JPA / Hibernate)
• Good knowledge of frameworks and adjacent technologies used in projects: Experience in Web application frameworks like Angular, RxJS using JavaScript/Typescript and some of its most common libraries/frameworks and Web standards, CSS and HTML best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Effective communication skills with a good command of English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD and deployment platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• German languages skills
