Senior Software Quality Engineer

As a Senior Software Quality Engineer, you will work with a talented group of developers to enhance task mining and intelligent automation products.

What you get to do in this role:

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases and relevant documentation
• Perform functional and non-functional testing and assist the development team in refining stories with "testability" in mind
• Work with development and product teams to design the test strategy, including plans for load, performance and scalability testing
• Develop and enhance automation for testing APIs, distributed cloud systems, as well as native clients
• Report on quality metrics such as test coverage and defect clustering/distribution across product components
• Support the engineering team in debuging/troubleshoosting issues and help with investigating potential customer cases

Requirements

To be successful in this role you have:

• 6+ years professional experience in quality assurance and/or application development
• Very good knowledge of SQL databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL); MongoDB is a plus
• Good understanding of Kubernetes & Kafka
• Good knowledge of .NET & Java (Python is a plus)
• Experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
• REST API testing & Postman experience
• Hands-on experience with Load/Performance testing
• ISTQB certified
• Windows RPA / gRPC experience is a plus
• Understanding of Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus
• Experience driving cross-team technical discussions with an understanding of SDLC concepts
• Good proficiency in Czechia and English language
