Accounts Payable (A/P) is looking for a strategic thinker who is passionate about system analysis, a fearless problem solver and driven to produce solutions. The Sr Analyst, Enabling Tools and Database Support supports the operations and external business partners by performing gap analysis on system defects, assessing business impact, make system change recommendation, and lead to implement system changes. This role is a great fit for an analyst with proven experience in supporting ERP systems issues by working with business stakeholders, IT support teams and driving cross functional /cross systems issues until resolution.

This role will sit under the Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) Magenta Services group and will be part of a Shared Services Organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a system SME for A/P, provide system support on A/P processes by identifying, troubleshooting, and tracking systems issues to ensure resolution. Develop recommendations and drive issue resolution with Enterprise IT. Responsible to ensure all systems are operational.
  • Communicate system releases and down time to affected users. Communicate business impact of system issues to IT and facilitate resolution of these issues. Update leadership on key issues impacting A/P systems and processes.
  • Analyze current processes, tools, or systems, and make cost effective recommendations for development, improvement, or simplification. Drive solution implementation and provide end user training.
  • Participate in projects & initiatives as required. Coordinate and manage all projects and systems activities, including project management, design, and user acceptance testing, enhancement, implementation, and production support.
  • Monitor & support AP application automated jobs and alerts.
  • Responsible for A/P's SAP security access requests & supporting business controls.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - MIS, BA, or related technical discipline (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in systems analysis (Required)
  • Experience in supporting SAP or Oracle application (Required)
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (Required)
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other process automation solutions. (Required)
  • System aptitude to deep dive into system processes and configurations quickly in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong logic and critical-thinking ability; experience and creativity in troubleshooting business process and software problems. Demonstrate curiosity in how system supports the business operations
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to write and understand SQL
  • Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office
  • A self-starter and demonstrate ability to adapt changes
  • Experience supporting an Accounts Payable functions & working knowledge of accounting principles (Preferred)
  • Experience as a control operator in a SOX framework (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $70,500 - $127,100

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
