Job Description:

Insurance is a unique product in that an insurance company collects premiums upfront with the promise to pay in the future; as a result, there is strong need for financial regulations and related ongoing monitoring to ensure insurance companies remain solvent.

The Company Administration area within the Financial Regulation Division is responsible for reviewing applications for insurance companies seeking licensure in Nebraska, as well as many other miscellaneous company types. This area is also responsible for the audit & processing of over 1600 premium tax returns annually and over 2000 surplus lines tax filings quarterly.
