Job Developer

As a Job Developer at Dungarvin, you will play a vital role in connecting our clients with meaningful work, expanding their personal networks, and building relationships within the community.

The Job Developer assesses adult individuals with developmental disabilities for employment capabilities, explores job possibilities in the community, and performs job placements, while also providing training assistance and offering continuing support.

In addition, the Job Developer educates employers and community providers about Dungarvin Employment Services and encourages them to recognize clients' abilities to be productive and successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trust and collaborative relationships with clients.
• Help clients define personalized employment goals and customize job search activities to individual interests and strengths.
• Create Discovery Profiles using input from clients, family members, and past employers.
• Identify potential employers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Educate employers on Supported Employment Program services.
• Collaborate with employers to craft tailored job opportunities.
