About The Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you could work with bleeding-edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks, and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

As a senior, you are a role model and a mentor who promotes performance and efficiency. A forward-thinking person, you’ll be working with matured Scrum Team in a scaled agile environment developing Enterprise solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements focusing on lease accounting and pricing
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications
• Optimizing development standards and advocating best practices
• Ensuring the application software is optimized for performance and scalability.
• Coaching and mentoring less-experienced developers, building the team’s capability
• Participating in Scrum meetings, facilitating ideas to achieve the Sprint Goal
• Collaborating with like-minded Scrum Teams across the globe for implementation of internal projects

What You Will Need:

• 5-7 years' experience in Software Development roles
• Proficiency in C# and database queries using SQL and/or Oracle
• Fluency in the use of visual tools like sequence diagrams, class models, user journey mappings, etc
• In-depth knowledge on Lease Accounting and Pricing
• Working experience on end-to-end lifecycle of asset leasing and loan accounts
• The ability to challenge proposed solutions on accounting & pricing gaps
• The ability to develop technical implementation approaches from design approach
• Fluency in the use of visual tools like sequence diagrams, class models, user journey mappings, etc
• A tenacious approach to your work, rarely giving up until you have reached a logical and useful solution
• A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience
