NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for a self-motivated, experienced, mechanically-inclined individual to work as a Regional Sales Manager for the Food/Personal Care division. The Regional Sales Manager is a strategic, highly-visibility position, and is responsible for managing the sales activities of the assigned territory. This position reports to the Food/Personal Care Sales Director. It's preferred this position resides in Illinois or Wisconsin, but the location is flexible for the right candidate.

The Regional Sales Manager will drive the business in the region with the ultimate goal of increasing market share penetration at profitable levels. The Regional Sales Manager will become a trusted and valued partner to our customers to help achieve our strategic goals. The RSM will perform the following duties among others:

  • Technically and commercially support distributors in the Food/Personal Care market
  • Sell NETZSCH products and service to meet or exceed region sales revenue plan as established by the division Director and NETZSCH Pumps management.
  • Research, analyze and recommend new sales partners (primary or niche) for the region when necessary.
  • Provide required training to sales partnerโ€™s staff on products, applications, competition, commercial issues, company policies and operational procedures.
  • Make joint sales calls with sales partners or service personnel to build relationships with key customers in the region.
  • Represent NETZSCH at trade shows and industry events.
  • Provide the Company with market trends, sales growth strategies and competitive intelligence. Participate in marketing activities as required.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have previous experience selling industrial equipment, preferably pumps within Food, Personal Care and/or Hygienic industries. In addition, candidates should have:

  • Solid negotiation skills which includes the ability to communicate, persuade, strategize and cooperate.
  • Must be driven to achieve results. Position holder must be able to develop Regional Strategy Plans including specific roadmaps to reach the established sales and profitability goals in the assigned region.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time.
  • The ability to have related business and technical discussions as well as the ability to speak in front of groups.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and current passport.
  • The ability to travel up to 70% as required to achieve sales goals. Travel is mostly domestic with occasional international trips to other NETZSCH entities.
  • This position will work remotely from a home office when not traveling. The preferred location is IL or WI, but the location is flexible for the the right candidate matching our qualifications.
