Job description

These main responsibilities includes:

Review and implement effective AP processes. Which includes mapping our current processes and proposing more efficient process.

Responsible for selfbilling for our Suppliers including combining large volumes of data from supporting systems and uploads to finance system.

Will be the owner of rolling out Selfbilling for additional suppliers.

Responsible for Customer relations and support withing area of responsibility, this includes responding to inquiries and assisting in reconciling accounts and responding in a timely manner.

Support the team with allocations, setting up amortization schedules etc.

Month end reconciliation of accounts, monthly accruals and journal entries.

Support in year end closing and statutory audits for companies within the group.

Assist AP manager in various tasks as they arise.

Requirements

Skills:

• High school diploma/ equivalent & 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field & 2+ years of experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Problem-solving skills with the capacity to analyze and resolve discrepancies
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable experience.
• Experience in working with large data volume in excel.
• Advanced Excel skills including Macros (a must). Highly developed technical skills and process oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Knowledge of automation tools and technologies
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies

Systems good to have experience in NetSuite, Chrome River and Salesforce, Slack, Teams.
