Junior Platform Engineer

Verisk Maplecroft is seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join their DevOps team. You will be creating, supporting, and optimizing applications and services that run in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role requires programming or scripting experience, hands-on technical skills, an appetite to master new technologies and excellent communication skills.

In this role you will work to engineer and continually improve our applications and their supporting platform. As part of the DevOps team, your role is to understand requirements and assist our technical teams in the design, build and maintenance of consistent, secure and efficient applications utilizing AWS architecture. This will involve working with AWS CDK for infrastructure and Python/Bash for scripting.
