Insights is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will drive the development and implementation of cloud-based environments in AWS, supporting our growth strategies. Your role includes automating the build, test, and deploy lifecycle across a new technology stack, ensuring solutions are secure and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Development Squads to design and operate cloud-native services.
- Working closely with fellow DevOps in a small team
- Manage environments using Terraform.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes for Java and JavaScript applications that run on Linux.
- Ensure adherence to Insights Data Security standards.
- Provide third-line support and join the support rota.
Requirements
Tech Stack:
- SCM: GitLab (SaaS)
- IaC: Terraform
- Infrastructure: good AWS knowledge and IaC principles
- CI/CD: GitLab
- Applications: Java, Spring Boot, React
- Build Tools: Gradle, NPM, Docker
- Datastores: Postgres, S3
