As a Compensation Analyst within the Fortune Brands Innovations Global Compensation Team, you will provide day-to-day compensation analysis and will support designing, implementing, and administering compensation programs. A successful candidate will proactively support the rest of the Team to identify and address compensation issues.

We are looking for candidates who have the aptitude to understand and work with complex data. Have experience working with or in a matrix organization and are comfortable with ambiguity and โ€˜grayโ€™ areas. Attention to detail and accuracy from start to finish in developing programs and completing projects is critical to this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBITIES:

  • Act as a trusted resource in broad-based, executive comp and variable compensation topics for Fortune Brands Innovation across a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Participate in global compensation surveys or special compensation studies. This may require creation of market-specific surveys, establishment of target audience, communications, data collection, analysis, and feedback on results.
  • Support with market pricing activities, job matching of internal positions to external data and making recommendations to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Supports Global Compensation during annual planning cycles with data analysis, data reporting and administration (salary budgets, salary structures, merit review, incentives payout planning process, Long Term Incentives).
  • Administer third party vendors data sources and works with the HRIS to gather external and internal data to support the Global Compensation teams and our Business Partners to perform effectiveness and competitiveness analysis of existing compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with national, state and local compensation laws and regulations for all locations. Specifically, with FLSA/EEO determination
  • Maintain compensation grades, salary ranges and job profiles.
  • HRIS work related to compensation: Workday audits, report requests, release update support and testing (semi-annual), maintain job aids as needed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree with a minimum of 3 years of Compensation experience, 5 years or more work experience.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, form insights, and synthesize plain-English summaries.
  • Experience with job matching and market survey participation.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and work under pressure
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Excel Super-user
  • Experience enhancing and/or implementing compensation reporting tools.
  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.
  • Ability to connect disparate data sources and operationalize tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate and present at all levels with clarity and precision.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Workday and Market Pay experience
  • Global compensation experience
  • Proficient in performing/interpreting job evaluations as well as job grading/leveling
  • Experience with job matching and market survey participation
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) completed or in-progress
