Job Description Summary

Outside Sales Representative - Ground Protection

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Responsibilities:
Develop assigned territory via personal prospecting, cold-calling, qualifying leads, and following up on referrals· Provide sales support, training, and coordinate work with Outside Sales Representatives in the General Tool and Specialty Businesses with regards to Ground Protection.
Management of customer relationships and account development.
Provide bids for Ground Protection products and services within their assigned territory
Investigate and resolve any issues including contract, invoice, service, etc.
Review customer’s accounts with accounts receivable on a monthly basis and resolve any issues.

Operations Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean facility in accordance with company standards, as well as managing costs.
Outside Sales Representative – Ground Protection will ensure that all contracts (and related information) is received by support office CSR’s within 24 hours of delivery or pick up and that the information is high quality and meets company standards for accuracy and completeness.
Fleet Management: Keeping track of all assets including and performing scheduled inventory reconciliations. Minimizing down equipment and maintaining a “ready to rent” fleet. Communicate with General Manager for inventory needs based on activity and revenue goals. Identify underutilized assets for sale or transfer.
Management of all PC staff: This includes weekly scheduling, goal setting and planning as well as conducting performance and compensation reviews in coordination with Regional Manager.

E&D Responsibilities:
Ensure that field employees are working in a safe and productive manner while meeting the customer’s objectives.
Develop quotes by doing field measurements, take-offs, and estimating labor requirements.
Scheduling of E&D crews and projects.
Manage mobilization & demobilization of equipment and personnel necessary to execute the given task.
Customer management. Keep our customer informed and “in the loop” at all times while each job progresses.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least four years previous sales and/ or management experience.
Customer service experience required.
Knowledge of different phases of construction, equipment applications, features, benefits, operation and specifications required.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with effective supervisory skills.
Able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel.
Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite of products

Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - 58,168.00

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
