Public Relations Director

The Director of Public Relations will work closely with the executive team and various business functions to develop and implement strategic communication plans that enhance Trupanion’s public image and promote its mission and services. This role will be pivotal in shaping the company's voice, managing media relations, and driving public awareness initiatives. The Director of Public Relations will also oversee crisis communication, ensuring the company's reputation remains strong and positive.

This position is open to candidates located in, or willing to relocate to, the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

What you will do:

• Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with Trupanion’s goals and objectives.
• Manage media relations, including writing and distributing press releases, pitching stories to media, and responding to media inquiries.
