Director Project/Program Design

The Battery Management System Business Division (BMS) is seeking a Director of Firmware. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role in driving Renesas’s growth in the exciting battery management system industry. It will also be an opportunity to work with the product lines to position Renesas BMS's business division for continued growth.

What we need:

We are looking for a driven, creative, and highly motivated individual with the ability to standardize development flow for all FW resources in battery management & Gauging, USB Power Delivery, etc., scale the organization globally, and cross-pollinate expertise in different groups. This person will work with multiple product lines both within and outside the BMS business division to drive maximum synergy, IP reuse, execution, and scale of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of battery management & gauging algorithm, USB Power Delivery protocol, and strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functional disciplines in support of delivering products to the market.
