Network Engineer III

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer III with a specialization in voice and VoIP to join our team at a federal agency. As a key member of our team, the Network Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing network solutions, with a primary focus on voice and VoIP technologies, while also contributing expertise in cloud infrastructure, data WAN, firewall, and related technologies. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for providing Tier 2 and 3 support for the Service Desk, and contributing to the overall success of the managed services provided to our client.

Key Responsibilities include:

Network Architecture and Design

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions with a primary focus on voice and VoIP technologies.
• Develop comprehensive network architecture plans, considering cloud integration, data WAN, firewall, and other relevant components.

Voice and VoIP Expertise

• Lead the implementation and optimization of voice and VoIP solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and quality of service.
