Windows and Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Windows Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of our Windows-based systems. This role requires a strong background in Windows Server environments, expertise in cloud technologies, Active Directory, and related technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016 / 2022
• Manage system updates, patches, and service packs to ensure security and performance
• Design, deploy, and manage Windows-based cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Develop and maintain automation PowerShell scripts to streamline system administration tasks
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and other Windows server-related services
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 environment
• Manage email routing, delivery, and transport rules to optimize communication flows
• Provide technical 3rd level support to end-users
• Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
• Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard Windows-based environments
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference

Qualifications

• Minim Bachelor's degree (HTL/FH/UNI) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience

• Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator in an enterprise environment
• Experience with cloud-based email solutions, especially Microsoft 365
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Windows-based cloud solutions
• Experience in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and related technologies
• Knowledge of “Modern Workplace” (M365, SharePoint, Exchange Online, etc.)
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High level of initiative, goal- and solution-oriented way of working
