Cloud Engineer - Azure

The Retail Azure Cloud Engineer will provide hands on Cloud infrastructure development and support skills. The role will involve collaboration with the product & architecture teams team to enable implementation of new solutions and existing systems whilst ensuring all relevant standards and policies are met.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering large, clean, maintainable features, resolve end-to-end issues and input to the definition of new approaches where applicable so as to deliver valuable features to our Retail customers.
• Utilising Azure development skills to create and prove patterns using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & Configuration-as-Code (CaC) approaches such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Contributing to larger projects and take a lead on small to medium sized work items inputting and contributing to design, build and deployment phases.
• Use metrics to make data-driven decisions to continuously improve the approaches to deployment, monitoring and operations, to enable simplified release and run activities providing performant and resilient systems in production. Sharing learning with peers, customers and other team members.
