As part of its digital transformation, Accor is looking for a passionate, curious, talented and polyvalent Data Scientist Engineer.

Within the Data Science & AI team, you will be responsible of developing and implementing data science and AI models in a scalable approach and including incremental value delivery. Coding and development activities should explicitly consider best in class MLE practices and appropriate use of available technologies.

You will be working under the steering of the Data Science & AI team leaders, in compliance with Data Science & AI priorities.

Your mission :

Innovate to excel

• • Deliver an end-to-end data science and AI projects
  • Leverage consistent datasets for a given purpose and go through data cleansing activities
  • Evaluate different modeling approaches based on benchmarks
  • Recommend a model among others while being able to demonstrate the relevance of the recommendation
  • Code accordingly the model, visualize the results, and showcase to the business representatives
  • Leverage existing MLE features, and adopt best MLE practices under the guidance of more senior positions
  • Leverage existing MLE platforms to propose best technical solution
  • Liase with data tribe teams, data architects, and tech leads to ensure proposed solution comply with industrialization standards.
  • Ensure the maintenance of algorithms to avoid model obsolescence

Implement

• • Ensure the ML backlog is constantly organized and prioritized in order to ship the most valuable functionalities based on team capacity, on strategy
  • Oversee the release of high-quality products on schedule
  • Secure robust delivery and scalable AI products
  • Adopt agility throughout delivery to reduce time-to-insight timeframe
  • Run a close monitoring on critical DS & AI projects with significant component in MLE, within the steering & guidance of DS & AI Chapter’s leadership

Communicate

• • Communicate the overall direction and constraints to the management, data scientists and relevant stakeholders
  • Provide cross-functional capabilities, most notably between data engineering, Product teams, and business stakeholders
  • Support demo sessions with stakeholders and showcase progress & solution robustness

Analyse

• • Define and follow the product performance KPIs on the Machine learning engineering and the business & technical KPIs for company goals in order to constantly improve the product based on iterative value creation
  • Work closely with Data scientists and data tribes.

Requirements

And you ?

• Experience in Data Science or MLE or role, capable of delivering AI powered features and products & models
• Proven skills in data science and good practices in terms of MLE
• Knowledge in MLE technological landscape and market solutions
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience with data science toolkits
• Great communication and interpersonal skills to effectively translate technical details into business solutions
• Focus on outcomes, go-to-production with a strong drive to deliver value-add solutions
• Fluent in French and English
• Interest in Travel & Hospitality
