We’re looking for an experienced and driven Head of Communications (m/f/d) to shape the future voice, and visibility of Project A and our portfolio companies.

This role will be key in crafting and executing our communications strategy, elevating Project A’s brand presence, and providing strategic support to our portfolio companies.

In this role, you’ll:

• Develop the international PR & communications strategy to further enhance brand awareness and generate excitement for Project A.
• Reliably drive and execute the strategy and communications plans, and be accountable for the results.
• Proactively identify and build on opportunities to elevate our brand and funds externally, including the personal brands of our investment team and partners.
• Secure and organize top-tier media coverage and speaking engagements at key industry events and conferences.
• Work across a broad range of stakeholder groups, including portfolio companies, the media, as well as internal audiences, such as the investment team and partners.
• Develop high-quality, engaging content that showcases in depth industry knowledge and thought leadership
• Act as the primary international communications contact for Project A Ventures, ensuring effective message delivery to diverse audiences, including investors, partners, and the media.

Your Profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in communications in fast-paced startup, scale-up, or VC environments with additional experience as a tech journalist or in a PR agency.
• Balancing both strategy and execution, you seamlessly navigate breadth and depth whilst thriving as an individual contributor.
• You demonstrate a strong track record of developing & executing successful communication strategies with measurable results.
• An outgoing self-starter who is well-connected within the startup ecosystem and relevant media outlets.
• You move the needle and have a growth hacker mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and gravitas to effectively manage senior stakeholders and drive the communications agenda.
• Proactive and autonomous approach to work; both open-minded and quick to adjust to new challenges and changes

Please note that we are looking for support in our Londonoffice. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
