Staff Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join the Finance team in Chicago, IL. The Staff Accountant is a critical role within the finance team and will be a key member as Daniels continues to grow nationwide in the healthcare space. This is a HYBRID role- 3 days per week in the office. Recent Accounting Graduates are welcome to apply.

Daniels is a large international business with operations across Australia, South Africa, United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Operational activities include transport, manufacturing and distribution of products, and the treatment of healthcare waste. Daniels is a highly recognized brand in the healthcare space and due to the growth of the Company is looking to grow the finance team.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations, including accounts payable, accruals, cash, and other G/L accounts
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Prepare daily bank reconciliations
• Perform key month-end close activities
• Prepare weekly cash projections and cash flow reports
