Accountant

The Accountant Position

Sunnova seeks a talented accountant to be responsible for various areas within corporate accounting, customer payments, revenue, debt, O&M and potentially other accounting areas. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this individual will also be responsible for accounting functions such as monthly close tasks, account reconciliations, journal entries, supporting schedules, and roll forwards. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for preparing and reviewing actual to budget variance explanations related to certain areas.

Accountant Responsibilities

· Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policy for customer payment and revenue entries, general accounting accruals, and other supporting entries.

· Process customer checks and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.

· Process payment request forms and create Payable Invoices (PINs) as needed.

· Approve customer payment records and correct revenue management deposits.
