Senior Product Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Senior Product Manager working on the Discovery - Merchandising charter, this role will focus on improving user engagement deeper in the funnel. You will be expected to see the big picture, set ambitious growth goals, and build solid roadmaps based on sound logic and trade-off principles. Your primary objective will be to help customers find something to watch on the platform, maximizing video viewers by shaping intent around content and creating a seamless browsing experience. You will need to balance different objectives for various cohorts and collaborate with engineering and design teams to craft the best experience for improving user retention on the platform.

The Customer Experience (CEX) team manages the entire customer journey, from signup to personalized content viewing on a wider range of consumer devices. REPORTING TO: Principal Group Product Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and articulate data-backed hypothesis, build, validate, and learn by experimenting
• Translate abstract problem statements into clear requirements by identifying market headwinds and tailwinds
• Influence roadmaps within and beyond the functional area to contribute positively to the overall D+H ecosystem
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and actively contribute to roadmaps and prioritization outside the domain
• Demonstrate agility in responding to external signals, enabling efficient roadmap reprioritization, and ensuring wide communication of implications
• Take ownership of assigned KPI that directly contributes to the Product Objectives and key results
• Become the go-to expert in the assigned functional area, driving strategic advancements through domain expertise, innovation, and business transformation
• Play an active role in team-building efforts and participate in hiring processes

• Exhibit the ability to tackle vague problem statements with minimal supervision and take decisive action across the organization
• Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment, open to feedback and capable of mentoring junior PMs to success. Skilled at influencing without formal authority
