Principal RTL Verification Engineer

Team Overview:

Today’s Internet of Things (IoT) applications rely on item-level data enabled by RAIN RFID technology. Impinj, the world’s #1 provider of RAIN RFID products and solutions, is expanding our RTL Verification group, an integral part of the Silicon Engineering department. This will be a high visibility role and will be key in the success of the department and company.

What you will do:

• Work on multiple aspects of tag endpoint and reader chip designs including C behavioral model development, RTL model coding, debug, verification coverage improvement through directed Verilog Test Bench development, writing System Verilog assertions and coverage monitors, writing test plans for features and functional blocks in the endpoint ICs and reader IC microarchitectures. Writing directed tests and pseudo random tests that deliver comprehensive functional coverage.
• Develop workflows and reporting tools using industry standard CI/CD tools augmented with custom toolkits to enhance verification abilities and increase throughput.
• Work across multiple disciplines to help automate critical workflows.
