What You Need to Succeed in This Role

• Experience: 5+ years in data engineering or a related field, with a strong background in designing and managing scalable data systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases; expertise in data pipeline and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue); familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka); programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for innovative problem-solving.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

If You Get the Job, You Will Have To

• Design & Develop: Create and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring they meet current and future needs.
• Optimize & Implement: Develop and optimize data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
• Collaborate: Work closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate data solutions and support machine learning efforts.
• Ensure Quality: Maintain data integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
• Monitor & Troubleshoot: Oversee data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Mentor: Guide and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
