Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy Alignment: Develop and implement HR functions and initiatives aligned with the overall business and HR strategy, continuously enhancing the recruitment process, and development of the talents.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee and work on recruitment and selection to attract, hire, and retain top talent, aligning with the company's FTE roadmap. Implement a process for internship recruitment and administrative follow-up.
  • Employee Relations: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and fostering a positive work environment and culture aligned with company values.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, act as the main point of contact for performance and talent management, and implement robust PM/TM procedures.
  • Career & Employee Development: Implement career and employee development strategies, including continuous education, challenging projects, internal evolution, mentoring programs, and tailored development plans.
  • Learning & Development: Develop and manage a Learning and Development program, allocating budgets per person/function, and assessing needs and wishes.
  • Administrative HR: Handle administrative tasks related to payroll, benefits, and learning & development programs, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits acting as the link between the management and the employees, assisting discussions with employees, and being responsible for compensation policies and payroll cost estimates.
  • Employer Branding: Enhance employer branding activities and continuously improve welcome training and onboarding sessions.
  • Team Building & Culture: Organise team-building events (quarterly, monthly, bi-weekly) and off-site events for the Management Committee, nurturing team spirit. Be granted the continuity of these events.
  • London Subsidiary Management: Handle responsibilities related to the London subsidiary, including visa management and enhancing interactions between London and Luxembourg.
  • People Operations Processes: Enhance people operations processes by implementing systems for handling day-offs, home office, and team equipment.
  • Stock Option Operations: Manage ESOP operations and handle internal communication about stock options.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification is a plus).
  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR generalist roles (in startup or scale-up environment is a plus).
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and methodologies
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.

As a HR Manager at Next Gate Tech, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth. The growth of our company goes in parallel with the development of our team. We are seeking an experienced and energetic HR Manager to be in charge of our Human Resources efforts. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment, aligning HR strategies with business goals, and supporting our team in achieving operational excellence. The HR Manager will be responsible for all HR functions, including the talent acquisition (Hiring and Retaining the Best), employee relations (Enhancing the team & people), performance management (Performance Management / Talent Management, Career/Employee Development), administrative (payroll, Learning & Development) and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The role will report directly to the Head of Operations of Next Gate Tech.
