ThinkOn is expanding its Infrastructure, Planning & Implementation team!
Reporting to the Technical IT Manager, the Solutions Engineer is primarily responsible for our current and expanding Object Storage Infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational stability, managing platform expansions, hardware updates, and providing technical leadership for Storage related projects. Additionally, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation and guides for processes, procedures, troubleshooting, providing knowledge sharing and mentoring. You'll proactively investigate alerts and take ownership of escalated incidents, leverage Problem & Change Management, and conduct thorough root cause analysis, aligning with industry and vendor best practices.
You Will:
- Direct oversight and technical ownership of our Global Object Storage Platform and technical documentation
- Ability to transform technical processes, procedures, and troubleshooting and relay into digestible Confluence knowledge that can be followed by junior Systems Administrators to reduce escalations, and enhance first-contact incident closure rate
