Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems and infrastructure solutions to meet our clients' business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and gather system requirements, and develop appropriate solutions.
• Manage system performance, availability, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for system configuration and security.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues, and implement necessary fixes and enhancements.
• Create and maintain system documentation such as technical specifications, configurations, procedures, and diagrams.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in systems engineering and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of systems engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of various operating systems, such as Linux and Windows.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or VMware Certified Professional (VCP), are preferred.
