About the Role

As a remote Software Engineer on the Authorization Advisor team, you will build a generative AI-powered assistant that empowers specialists to complete prior authorizations. Supporting you will be a cross-functional group including product, design, and machine learning teams.

You will integrate early, demo often, and incorporate feedback from internal and external users to iteratively build and land features so that they truly solve problems for our customers. You will be expected to come up with creative solutions and work together to shape the platform architecture. An ideal candidate is excited to innovate for impact in healthcare!

What You'll Do

• Land cutting-edge and novel experiences at large healthcare organizations
• Build highly usable interfaces that apply our machine learning algorithms to complex medical data
• Partner closely with our product, design, and machine learning teams
• Explore and evaluate new technologies in healthcare

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or similar
• 2+ years front-end programming
• Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• High technical bar and understanding of good coding practices

Nice to haves

• ReactJS
• Experience building Chrome Extensions
• Experience building on top of healthcare data (FHIR, HL7, EDI)
• Any backend experience with Python

Compensation

• Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $135,000-$175,000 + Equity. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
