Scripps Networks is seeking an experienced Data Partnerships, Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and directing workflows related to data and audience insights. You'll blend your business acumen with strong data analysis skills to turn raw data into actionable knowledge.

As the Data Partnerships Manager, you will:

  • Analyze data and audience insights to identify ad revenue opportunities, differentiate Scripps' ad portfolio, and enhance profitability across their video platform.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and end-users, serving as a trusted advisor and leveraging data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Create streamlined workflows and processes that are aligned with the modern media landscape.
  • Build predictive models and make data-backed recommendations to drive growth and performance.
  • Act as a bridge between the business and data teams, translating complex insights into easy-to-understand takeaways.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Evaluate and onboard new data partnerships across the Scripps enterprise.
  • Develop and implement data strategy to grow direct and programmatic sales.
  • Work and develop key retail media networks partnerships.
  • Manage and optimize existing data management platform (DMP) relationships.
  • Collaborate with Scripps Audience Insights and Digital Product Teams on first party, authenticated traffic, data marketplaces, and look-alike-modeling.
  • Actively look for partnerships to enhance device graph modeling for Scripps digital portfolio.
  • Support Scripps direct sales and programmatic sales teams on audience packaging deployment for ad monetization.
  • Build and deploy data strategies across Scripps Networks and Scripps Local, and work with Scripps’ platform and business development teams.
  • Work directly with advertisers CRMs, data syncs and deployment of campaign level execution with Scripps Ad Operations team.
  • Work with Scripps sales team to track, monitor and assist with advertiser KPIs at the campaign level.
  • Develop dataflows and audience acquisition strategies to embolden Scripps video and display offerings.
  • Support the development of Scripps audience analytics products and services.
  • Proactively identify tools, techniques & software, including data acquisition alternatives, identifying new audience data sources and evaluations.
  • Provide input into product roadmaps.
  • Create communications advocating for the benefits of audience packaging across Scripps entertainment, sports and news assets.
  • Work with Scripps distribution partners to source key audience signals from original equipment manufacturer (OEMs), virtual multichannel video programming distributors (vMVPDs), and other free ad supported TV (FAST) services.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Demonstrated ability in presenting analytical findings and move forward ideas in workflow
  • Proven success audience insights packaging for ad monetization
  • Demonstrated leadership using statistical analysis and research to drive positive change at product level
  • Brand, product development, marketing, media or advertising agency experience preferred
  • Be a positive force to cultivate a culture that is passionate about monetizing audience across the company portfolio
  • Clever and curious with a passion for finding insights in data and using quantitative analysis to push product solutions
  • Experience with mapping business drivers to data mining
  • Strong analytical and data fluency skills
  • Driven self-starter with an appetite for new challenges
  • Creative problem solver with a common sense and practical solutions orientation; must be passionate about the role data plays in improving ad monetization performance
  • Proven collaborative ability in influencing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills demonstrating an ability to “tell a story"
  • Ability to work with diverse teams (sales, research and developers) to convert ideas and analytics into revenue
  • Understanding of market research or analytics, and its application to broadcast and/or digital media preferred
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit; high energy level, sense of urgency, responsive, confident, thorough
  • Strong work ethic with ability to overcome setbacks and enthusiastically persist until ambitious goals are achieved
  • Must be resourceful, creative and innovative
  • Ability to move partnerships forward within company methodologies and best practices

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - 135000

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
